To ensure email delivery will be improved and have less chance to be marked as spam, it is important that the email senders that will be used in E-Golf4U/TeeTime are verified.
From now you can approve the email senders at Main management > E-mail senders. This will be done in 3 steps:
1. Add the domain as a "sending domain"
2. Verify the domain. If the domain is not verified yet, the contact who has registered the domain name will receive an email in name of Mandrill/Mailchimp to verify the domain. Forward this email to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can verify the domain in Mandrill/Mailchimp!
3. Add SPF and DKIM records in the domain management. When those records don't exist yet, you will receive an email with instructions. You can forward this email to the party who manages your domain name
In E-Golf4u you can check if a domain name has been approved by clicking the "Check" link. This will be done automatically as well within an interval of time.
Make sure the email senders for the confirmation mails from TeeTime will be approved as well in E-Golf4U!
Public domains as Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo are no longer available as email sender!
An email sender can be used if all steps after its name have a green check icon. At the home screen will be notifications shown if a sender is not setup correctly (anymore), so you can take action to resolve this.
Below is more technical information. You can forward it to the manager of your domain name.
A TXT record needs to be added with value:
v=spf1 include:spf.mandrillapp.com ?all
When you already have a TXT record with SPF information, you have to add before the last operator (mostly something like ?all, ~all or -all):
A new TXT record needs to be added with the name mandrill._domainkey.<yourdomainname>
The value of this record has to be:
v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADCBiQKBgQCrLHiExVd55zd/IQ/J/mRwSRMAocV/hMB3jXwaHH36d9NaVynQFYV8NaWi69c1veUtRzGt7yAioXqLj7Z4TeEUoOLgrKsn8YnckGs9i3B3tVFB+Ch/4mPhXWiNfNdynHWBcPcbJ8kjEQ2U8y78dHZj1YeRXXVvWob2OaKynO8/lQIDAQAB;
Or, if the DNS provider has no support for semicolons:
v=DKIM1\; k=rsa\; p=MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADCBiQKBgQCrLHiExVd55zd/IQ/J/mRwSRMAocV/hMB3jXwaHH36d9NaVynQFYV8NaWi69c1veUtRzGt7yAioXqLj7Z4TeEUoOLgrKsn8YnckGs9i3B3tVFB+Ch/4mPhXWiNfNdynHWBcPcbJ8kjEQ2U8y78dHZj1YeRXXVvWob2OaKynO8/lQIDAQAB\;
